Tammy graduated court reporting school in Austin, Texas, in 1997, obtaining her RPR and Texas certifications shortly thereafter. She began her career in 1998, working as the official court reporter to the chief judge in Montgomery County, Kansas. In 2000 she moved to the Nashville area and worked as a freelance court reporter for Vowell & Jennings. In January of 2006, she and Jerri Porter opened Brentwood Court Reporting Services, LLC, where she now works as a part-time court reporter in order to stay home with her daughter.
Tammy has served as a past officer of the Tennessee Court Reporters Association, and is a member of the National Court Reporters Association. She is a Tennessee LCR and also holds the certifications of RPR and CLR. She lives in Franklin, Tennessee, with her husband, Marty, daughter, Luci Lee, and their two dogs.
