Emily became an RPR in 1996. She has worked as a court reporter in Cedar Rapids, Iowa; Kansas City, Missouri; Boston, Massachusetts; Nashville, Tennessee; and Tokyo, Japan. She holds the certifications of RPR and the Tennessee LCR.

Emily has recently moved back to the Nashville area after living in Tokyo for five years with her family due to her husband's career. She enjoys practicing yoga and spending time with her three children when she's not working.
